How Mold Remediation Works

The Mold Remediation Process

The remediation process will depend on how much mold is present and where exactly it is found. Colonies of mold can be eliminated with antimicrobial and anti-fungal treatments and these also help stop the formation of any new colonies. In some cases, carpeting, sub floors and drywall may need to be disposed off if they are infested with mold.

Our trained mold professionals will be able to clean the mold, remove odours and restore as many items as possible such as furniture, curtains, decorations, and personal belongings etc by cleaning and sanitizing them. The items will then be dried with the use of high-powered fans and dehumidifiers. If needed, drywall and new carpeting may need to be installed and various areas of the home may require reconstruction.

Since mold can quickly and easily spread it’s important that the problem be taken care of as quickly as possible.
